Humberside Police welcomes the new High Sheriff of East Riding of Yorkshire

The Declaration of Office for the new High Sheriff of East Riding of Yorkshire was attended by Humberside Police Chief Constable Paul Anderson.

Col (Retd) Chris Henson QGM, is the retired commandant from the Defence School of Transport at Leconfield. As part of his tenure as High Sheriff he aspires to actively support the East Riding community.Mr Henson said, “I was honoured to have the Chief Constable representing Humberside Police at my declaration. As High Sheriff, my theme for the year is ‘Improving Communities’ and I look forward to working with the Police, voluntary groups, agencies and individuals across the county throughout the year, highlighting their efforts and celebrating their successes in improving the lives of everyone across the East Riding of Yorkshire.”Chief Constable Paul Anderson said, “Our police force already has a close relationship with Mr Henson, who is a great champion of uniformed services and law and order. I wish him every success in his tenure as High Sheriff and look forward to working with him over the coming year.”
